Hope for Helpers: CCAPP is here for you!
Dear Colleagues,
Social distancing is particularly difficult for people who dedicate themselves to helping others. This message is to let you know that CCAPP is here for you during this stressful time and to inform you of our procedures during this emergency. If there is anything we can do to brighten your day, reduce your stress, or assist you so that you can refuel for the upcoming downturn in the economy and eventual surge in clients seeking care, we are here.
As vital, life-saving professionals we know that your services are absolutely necessary at this time. Because CCAPP certifies and registers the majority of the SUD counseling workforce, we will remain open and operational during the statewide shelter-in-place order so that all of our counselors can keep providing services.
In light of the new statewide shelter in place order from the governor to help slow the spread of COVID-19, CCAPP is protecting it’s workers with social distancing requirements while in the office. Unfortunately, this means we must also limit public exposure to the virus. As such, we are adjusting our services in the following ways:
1. We no long will have walk in options for in-person services at either the Sacramento or Long Beach offices.
2. We will still be available by email Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm.
For education, please email [email protected]
For membership, [email protected]
For accounting, [email protected]
For credentialing, recovery residence, and general questions, [email protected]
3. We have adjusted our phone times to Tuesday through Thursday from 9am to 4pm.
Thank you for your patience and understanding. We hope that you and your loved ones remain healthy and well.
Sincerely,
Pete Nielsen, CEO
