CCAPP has developed a two day training event specific to the revised DOT regulations and focusing on the role and responsibilities of the Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) and a DOT compliance seminar for employers who must meet the DOT requirements. The written qualification examination for SAP’s is administered by the IC&RC Certification Boards throughout the country. The IC&RC DOT/SAP examination will be offered post training session by CCAPP. The two days of training will provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the revised DOT alcohol and drug test in procedures and clearly define the role and responsibilities of the Substance Abuse Professional. The Substance Abusse Professional examination will be held on June 18, 2017 from 9am-11am (not required for refresh courses). The examination cost is $175 in addition to the training fee and must be paid in advance; check must be made out to CCAPP Credentialing.
The two day training can be used as a requalification course for the individual who is already a certified SAP. This course meets the DOT/SAP requalification criteria for the12 contact hours.
